The bbs will still be rubbish for driving in snow with those wide tyres on. I found 14" steels with 175 70 14 tyres were best for winter.

Good advice. Also if you've got someone to help hold it in place while you remove the bolts holding it on it makes it a little easier.

I cant tell you for sure on those wheels however I did have some Mim 1900s with the VW offset (et25) that needed spacers to clear the calipers on the front.
