Hi.
Don't suppose you have a Rocker/cam cover to fit an M20 2.5?
as long as the plate is fitted inside it doesn't have to be tidy.

Re: Rocker cover plate
I bolted it on in the end. Drilled three holes roght through and used sealing washers so it was air tight.
It'll do until I buy a new cover.

Rocker cover plate
Just a quick one.
The plate riveted to the underside of my Rocker cover(M20 2.5)
Has come off.
Is this part that important?
I can see more oil perhaps getting sucked through the vent tube, is this a big problem.
I can't see an easy way of refixing it.

Re: Failed MOT
Cheers Brian. Yea I was a bit puzzled as it’s passed the previous 2 Mot's with the light on. I think the tester may have thought it was the brake fluid warning light, isn't that the one with the exclamation mark? I shall check the connections again... I do have a spare instrument cluster kicking aro...

Re: Failed MOT
Cheers Steve. I think that's sorted my headlamp aim. Tother thing it failed on was the brake pad warning light. This has been on since I changed my pads a couple of years ago. New sensor didn't cure it. I've joined the wire near the fuse box and checked the loop connector at the fuel pump harness(my...

Re: Failed MOT
Hi.
It is a smilie. Just reading the wiki guide I see you can adjust the lamps for left or right hand drive cars by loosening and twisting the section behind the lense.
I may have accidentally done this while cleaning my lense so I shall inspect this.

Failed MOT
My E30 failed it's MOT earlier on:
Incorrect Headlamp lense on offside, projects too much light into oncoming traffic.
I have had the same smilie lamp for over 10 years, may have cleaned it but it's never failed an Mot.
Are lamps sided?

Re: Fuse 21 blowing
finally found the problem.
... the three wires at the bottom of the passenger door pillar that go up to the dome light had fused together
I'm not sure what would have caused this.

Yep the glovebox light only works with the ignition on.
I will take a look at the other wires if it ever stops raining.
