Result there fella, nice colour.
A lux? with spotlights check the options list as that would have been an extra, or one of the last out, or have they been fitted afterwards.

Re: Looking at my first e30 - any potential in a vgc e316i?

A good clean 2 door shell with sunroof delete is worth a grand. Far too many people have no idea of rust issues and 'think' their cars are rust free, an autopsy will 90% of the time reveal otherwise, ramps, long pointy metal things, torches, tea and an hour will show the true state of a car.. As for...

The AA 'cover' via a bank account was what I relied on when a m20b27 gave in where the M3 joins the M25. Took 5hrs (2am it went bang) and it cost me over 200 notes to get it home as the 'cover' only err covers a short distance.

Epic rust traps, had a pair on my facelift but the mountings disintegrated along with the part of the body it was attached to. :( Depends how much time is spent on preventative measures. If there isn't a wiki on keeping the rust traps in fine fettle no doubt our overseas brethren will sort it out i...

I still remember what it was like chucking the nose of an E30 into a bend with an M40 stuck under the bonnet, then remembering what happened the first time I tried the same roundabout with new shocks, springs, bushes etc but with an M20. All I'll say is the front went wide and luck more than skill g...

Do BMW still supply 80Amp alternators, if they only stock the 90Amp ones... though The M40 uses an 80amp one up to the last in '94 so my logic of only one being made back then goes up in smoke. Time to get the paper, pencil and manual out and have an add up fella to see what the book says it'll be d...

Hmmm Could this be down to manufacturing ie. making them all 90Amps to cut costs in having to produce two? The less current an alternator has to generate the less mass of either magnet or copper wire needs turning hence it should weigh a bit less. I've never weighed the two but the logic sounds err ...

BTW handing out legal advise without being a member of the Bar is illegal, matters of Law are different but know doubt you know that you must be a lawyer, or do you know the relevant Acts and Statutes relating to this, just because the insurer doesn't stop you doesn't make it legal.

Mine didn't look a quarter as bad as that one fella, the work once you get started will cost more in gas and rods than the 500 bringing a car from the mainland.
