could of got hold of a 2.0 head for free but going to get it alley welded and skimmed

would a 2.0 head fit on my 2.5 block? if so what would need changing? cheers

ive just recently replaced my prop due to the centre bearing collapsing, put a new prop on and when you put your foot down a bit theres a weird rubbing/scraping sound coming from the mid/rear of the car.
any suggestions?

ive done a 2.5 conversion on my car and i need to order a new centre bearing and uj for my prop shaft but dont have a registration or chassis number to order the parts... could anyone help me out?

its a 325 manual and the gearbox mounts looked ok i checked them last week when i put the linkage back on

anyone got a clue why my rev counter wouldnt be working properly?

rev counter isnt working properly? goes ll the way round to the start again

right got he clutch working but theres no fluid coming out when you try to bleed it out the nipple? and also the battery wont hold its charge took it for a test run and it cut out, jumped it and it drove home but the lights were still flickering.

my 318i engine passed away the other week and instead of fixing it im just going to do a 2.5 conversion for good measure.
im sure someone has asked this before but is it a straight swap?

well i got in my 318i today and started it up and it was runnin a bit shitty and there was an unpleasent noise coming from underneath and the oil light was on so i drove it to the shops anyway and when i was driving past mine it cut out and wont start again, reckon ive hit the sump on sumit and its ...

my 318i has been running like s**t
when you go to pull off it just coughs and splutters and you have to dip the clutch to get it moving
it tics over fine and wont cut out just bog down
taking it to the garage in the week but just want to know whats up with it so i dont get ripped off

when i start my 318i up in this stupidly cold weather it doesnt tic over properly and sounds like its hunting, also if you drive for a few 100 yards when you stop it will cut out then start up fine and once its warmed up it will drive fine.

the sensor is badly corroded i jus put a tiny squirt of gasket sealer round it ;)
ill get a new one how much am i looking at?
