i have 91 318i convertible and it needs a new steering rack, can anyone suggest where would be a good place to purchase one?
i have been offered a second hand one for £40 but i would rather buy new/recon so i can put it on and forget about it!

I have two E30's but no other car, I travel about 50 miles a day to and from work, my touring just passed it's MOT today with no advisorys

I use my cab daily, 30 miles, all year round, MOT on my Touring has expired, not much needed for a ticket but this shitty weather i can't be arsed!! no garage

With out removing the centre cap how can you tell they are not original!!

Thanks for the replies, I am driving the car daily, about 30 miles a day but i will be driving from Chelmsford to Brighton and back tomorrow and didn't want to get there and there be a problem with the brakes!!
Pads are not in stock till Monday and i inquired about front disc's which they have!

hi, i have a 318i 1991 cab, it runs a cat, if removed will it make much difference!! I need to change the exhaust as it is blowing quite bad, not sure how much it is going to cost me! any one know where in the Chelmsford. Essex area where i can get it changed and won't get ripped off!!

I might just as well whip the disc off as the wheel will be off anyway and have a butchers, as long as a load of springs and brakes shoes done fall out on the floor

Handbrake on my 318 cab is really slack and I can't see how to adjust it, I hope I don't have to remove the disc's do I??
It is a 91 model,I have been advised that a screwdriver through a wheel stud hole and find the ratchet but I couldn't feel or see bugger all?
