Afternoooon . I'm on the hunt for an early e30 pre face lift but want discs on the rear, am I right in thinking ally the 25s and 20s came with rear discs ?

Do you intend to buy another some day, it must have/feel horrible? i watched my beloved norco downhill bike get smaller and smaller in my old mans mondeo mirror but it did bring an e30 my way, even so its very hard to do. Cant see my self owning another for quite a while Unless I get the dosh for a...

I knew it was going to be something stupid

Just when I was about to start ripping the car apart again I noticed the strut brace was toutching the top of the Inlet manifold DUH...so all sorted now. Thanks for all the replys.

I think my plan of action is to buy some original mounts along with double checking nothing is toutching the body, engine or gearbox.....

Tanks Max... I had thought maybe this coud be the case with non gen mounts. Do you know what make the gen ones are ?

Its a 2.7 M20. I was also in the process of fitting a new viscuss van so it was removed .

I can I just checked the ECP web site to check the part number aginst there web listing part and its the same 337110091.

Hi Folks as above realy . Just fitted some new engine mounts from ecp and have noticed now that there is a strange vibration through the bulkhead/transmission tunnel. this while the car is on idle and when driving, in fact when driving its worst. I have checked that there is nothing touching the bod...

17 s look nice in the right style but sometimes I think my 17" azev a's look a little too big and to be honest I went against what most said and now wish I fitted 16's

Its was quite noisey anyway but now its started to rattle a tiny bit even with my foot on the clutch.... Murphy will that box be the same as mine ratio wise ? are secound hand boxes realy that cheap !

Im thinking of changing out my gear box as its starting to get very noisey when the car is out of gear on idle... many have said its more than likely the shaft... my question is what can I exspect to have to pay for a good secound hand box and do the owners of noisey boxes like mine normally go mad ...

I put my Mint one on the bay for 20 quid and didnt get a Sniff .....

The front valance should have holes in the top from what I remeber for the clips to push into. Im home in the morning so will have a look first thing for the clips. Are you or is anyone you know going to gaydon so I can pass on the clips to them (if I have any) ?

Done this and I also pulled a bit more of the cable into the cabin to take up some slack... The only clip I noticed was on top of the gear box which was still intacked

Had a look underneath end the wire had been rubbing on the propshaft coupling so I had to replace psrt of the wire... all seems fine now.
