....Maybe more suited to an e21 or 2002. Sadly they've removed the colour adjustment to just a few presets I have just bought one of these for my 1987 325i (the original Hamburg was available from 1983). The small number of screen colours was a disappointment, but a software upgrade is available fr...

Sport seat bolster replacement, how easy to do?
Afternoon all, I've managed to source a couple of new bolsters for my sport seats and I'm wondering how easy they are to swap over? It's for the drivers seat and I have both outer bolsters to fit. Are there any parts I need or can all the old bits be re-used ie clips and hog rings etc? Any special t...

It's also worth checking tps readings, firstly at the tps, and then at the ecu plug to make sure the wiring is in good order. There are many tests you can do with a multimeter to ensure the engine management is in good order and that readings are reaching the ecu plug. Something else often overlooke...

Re: 86’ M325i Import
Hi very nice car. Early 2 door 325i is a great thing that is becoming extremely rare. Is it running jetronic or motronic injection? This needs to be established before ordering parts. It could be that a previous owner in NZ used whatever parts they could find, so it would be worth checking real oem ...

I have two of those Lowe icv laying around gathering dust. Purchased one and the idle was racing up and down between 1k to 1.5k rpm, so I messaged them and they shipped me another, exactly the same issue. Cleaned the oem one again and its still going strong.

I doubt they will ever restore these cars. It will be a couple of videos having a poke around, detailing some bs plans, and maybe bolt on some aftermarket parts. All for the views I'm afraid. Hopefully they prove me wrong..... Much better off putting your time into videos from Spanner Rash, Driftwor...

Re: 325i Touring Resto
What a lovely car, looks brand new. Could we see the e30 and e34 tourings become more desirable now that BMW have released an m3 touring. I'm not saying they're not popular already, but having more M touring models leaving the factory can't hurt their popularity.

Re: Vibration/Noise after propshaft centre bearing replacement...
I had an issue like this on my old e30, although the vibration was felt at around 60mph, it was a real headache. Did the garage only change the centre bearing? As said above they may not have tensioned it correctly or even fitted it backwards, or not lined up the dots correctly. There is also a smal...

Been using these Mahle oil filters for a while now, part number was always OC49, quality seemed great and added bonus they are made in Austria. Re: New M52 "Restomod" E30 Project - SPANNER RASH
In regards to the colour, are you attempting to do an oem looking build or something more custom looking? First decision is do you go with a bmw colour? Secondly, do you go with an original e30 colour? For a more retro look there are plenty of early e30 colours that help give the classic look, for e...

Only 6 months to go, luckily there are 4 councils opposing this madness. They may have a chance as tfl have been very suspect in compiling data for their report, and in their own words the impact on air quality will be negligible. If the zone goes ahead I'm sure there will be enough disgruntled resi...

Same experience here, not had any rubbing issues with multiple types of spring. Current setup is the h&r 60/40 cup kit. Could it be the previous owner was sold an incorrect spring? Unlikely, and even if so, it would have had to have been on par with a mattress spring to cause rubbing. You need to bo...

I'm not sure you can get a definitive answer on this. If it worries you then dont do it, or make sure both sides are equal. I remember an old car of mine I used to park half on a very high kerb outside my gfs, and i did sometimes wonder, especially as the engine bay would have heated the chassis, wo...
