Re: M20B25 valve guides
It is just the exhaust guides as they are very poor. I have had some made now as everyone that listed them off the shelf had none in stock with no delivery date.
Bloody expensive to change the valves just because the guides are oversize!

Re: M3 race car build
There`s very little of the car that follows the same lines if you look closer! We mocked it up before it was fitted and it dosn`t look very nice if you keep the lines constant. You have to remember there is door numbers and sponsors decals etc that need to go on yet. Anyway... a bit more of the buil...

Re: M3 race car build
This car is for the Mrs, she insisted leaving it RHD until after I`d done all the work! However I have all the LHD parts so can convert it back later. I use the knotted wire wheels on a grinder and used a gas torch on the bits you can`t get to afterwards. Best way to be honest is an acid dip or oven...

325i ECU code 0 261 200 173 can chipped 172 be used instead?
As above really, these are for a race car and was wondering if the 173 ecu is in effect the same as the 320i 172, i.e will a chip for a 173 work in a 172 or are ther other issues. Idle and cold start etc I`m not bothered about.

Valve sizes on 2.o and 2.5 M20
Am I right in thinking the valves are the same on the standard 2.0 and 2.5 heads, i.e I can fit an inlet from a 2.0 head into a 2.5 head etc? Cheers.
