little white plastic thing in the tool kit !!!!

8O does any one know what the small white plastic thing in the rear tool kit in the E30 is ? it looks like a plastic wheel nut with a cylinder coming out of it !!!! in the middle it has a very small threaded allen headed screw in it !!!!! please help !!!!
