yep adapters and spacers do eat bearings quicker, but its sometimes and easier way to get the look you want from the cars stance.

Lovely motor mate, love the wheels and stance, looks sweet in brown too...
First motor i saw in brown was Sunnys 190, you probably know him, another body shop boy from london, but East sides (works at jags place). Got to be the sweetest touring i've ever seen mate.

Four to five stud conversion?
I don't know if this is the right section, but was wondering, what is required in terms of parts and work, to convert a 4 x 100 e30 to 5 x 120 fitment.

Re: Touring question. which engine?
Cheers lads, now its all about the sound, i'll have to go hear a 318, may be at ultimate bmw show. As for engine conversions, i just want a reliable e30 to be honest, don't want to have the car off the road for a period of time... rather stick with the original lump. Just going to use it, and restor...

Touring question. which engine?
Right. i've driven them all and owned a couple of 325s but now looking for a touring. Is the 316 and 18 really not powerful enough, or are they fairly good all rounders. I've been told the 320 is sluggish and a heavy drinker, a 325 i know is lovely. So basically wanted to know is the 316 and 318 mod...

Oakey is yours manual or auto?
Also what mileage should i be looking at, for a cambelt change to be done on the history?
Well no point in a 320 if i can get the same cost out of a 325. Do they insure under classic insurance category yet?
thanks agan

There is a good kit on frosts website. It about 45 pound. Great for people who want to give it a go them selves, and for small areas like ips of wheels. IԚ´m not sure if its compatible with a regular drill. should be fine as long as the mops large enough. The compounds are supplied with the kit...

As long as you give them a dry wipe at the end of each day, with a micro fibre cloth, you will not have to polish them often. Make sure you chamois them at the end of the day if they are wet. Its more difficult for the dished wheels as the water and dust has some where to sit. Personally i would say...

I'm looking ot buy an estate, and looking at the touring and vw golf estate.
