316i to 325i fuel line swap assembly problems
Right im half way through an engine swap from a 316i to a 325i, its all in and looms wired up the main problem im havving is appart from the little things which ive sorted, is the the fuel lines i have comming to the front of the car, the 316i has three pipes and looking on the 325i there is only tw...

gear selectors?
i am doing a engine swap from a 316i to a 325i and was wondering if the gear stick and linkages are the same for both the 316 and the 325 gearbox? any help much appreciated.

all sorted now could not see where they joined as was covered in underseal and were seized but alot of wd40 done the job thanks

yeah thats always the way haha. have removed from hubs ok just trying to get them off of the car body now. is there any need to drop the fuel tank as it seems to go above that?

how do i remove handbrake cables !!
have jus swapped my rear axle from my 316i for one off of my 325i for a rear disc conversion but i also need to swap the cables over as they are not the same but i cannot work out how they come out
any help please?

It does have a rotary knob fitted to it sorry to sound like an idiot don't know a lot about the automatic ones.

have changed the blue sensor along with a brown one as i had problems with my temp gauge but that is now sorted. yes everytime its hot, haven't changed the dizzy but a few people have said that. its worse in 4th gear untill you let off the throttle then back on.

i have a 316i it runs fine but after a while of driving or when the enine has been running when u accelerate it cuts out for a second then kicks back in again. it happends in all gears but once its done it once it seems to clear then be ok throughout that gear untill the change. i have changed the s...

will the cars wiring loom of a 325i automatic fit onto a manual gearbox for it and how much more work is it to do that a straight forward swap?

I got a 316i lined up to buy in half decent condition for cheap so I'll give that a go as people are sayings it is possible, I'll post how it gets on!

17 that's why looking at the 316 as insurance and damage lol, jus want a small ltr rwd car to practice in then look into the bigger ones jus dnt wanna waste money on stuff that isn't going to work what about the 318s is the power much different?

Just had a look its a 316i are the carbs engines better for dritf or just the tuning side of it?

some diffs when you weld them up grind when turning slow like when you do a 3point turn or something. take it you've never had this problem?
