thanks, yer going in to a 318, thing is its a very mint shell and tbh log book will still show 318,

will the 318i box handle 200bhp?

ok ill look up danthe any rough idea on prices

ok, so spent the night searching, and reading though posts here and on e3024v.com and goggling things, and hopefully now have a complete list on what is needed for a smooth m50 swap can some one correct me were im wrong or add, e36 325 engine , ecu ending 413? and loom e30 centre bearing from a face...

defo the flywheel, although im not expert and starting out with the long track of knowledge needed to swap an m50 in. only thing you could do is try raising the idle with your throttle pedal first to find a idling point. then adjust your throttle under the bonnet to suit, id say you would have to ru...

ok, well may go fo it then, will work towards a m50'd e30 as that was my plan last year untill mot failed on excessive rust like 3 dinner plates size of dead metal!! never been in a m50'd e30 but i can guess its very nice. what's the major things needed, i know a little but not enough, ive read load...

not sure on the miles but not may think it was 90 some thing i might get a 320 again,the e30 320 was my first bmw so think ill always love them, but rust up the inner arch were it meets the bulk head and also up bulk head killed it at mot time! http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v2097/82/16...

yer it is good, like i say it was up for 900-1000, but no one brought it but then he dosnt use the internet, so never got it advertised :mad:

what bhp, mpg am i going to get, and is it a m40 or m10 engine, im 99% its m40,

well, is it easy to fit a is engine?

the 318 is only 8v? thought they were all 16v, well its a mates dads, hes had it a long while and spend a ton on it. but then its been up for sale for a little while a good 3 months, but he was after 900 to start with would i be better off looking for a 318is for 500? if thats the case its no biggie...

firstly is it worth it, its a f reg 318i tax till February 2011 and mot October, it had a fresh spray 8 months ago and done very very nicly. new tyres, brakes, immaculate, interior, its had new valve steam seals, as far as i know it has loads of paper work.up for £500 but able to get for £450 ive tr...
