Re: Purple tag rack swap complete kit
The steering pipes are specific to a m52/s54 power steering pump, I believe the banjo bolt is a different size when compared to a m20 pump.

It just shows its not easy having anything nice and enjoying it nowadays.
I woke this morning to find that my doorlock had been drilled, both front door glass smashed and my hardtop stolen.

Any update with this? Really interesting read, you have probably worked this out already but cams will have to come out to remove head. I’m going to be rebuilding a s38b38 this summer so have been researching a lot lately here are some helpful links if still needed- https://www.bmwtechinfo.com/repai...

Abit late but these are my modified e34/32 modified racing dynamics headers, the manifold closer to the bulkhead has been extensively modded. Had to slightly grind the 300mm.de mounts and shorten some of the manifold studs, fits great with the purple tag rack cars in storage now so will take pics wh...

Convertible 40/40 lowering springs
looking for a decent 40/40 lowering kit for a 325i convertible I like the look of the h&r cup kit 60/40 but I feel it compromises the ride quality(my brother has it fitted to his cabby) I was hoping I could find a decent set of 40/40 lowering springs and then use the e92 hats on the front to lower s...

Ok checked wiring of immobiliser and i believe it's The only immobiliser, removed wires that were spliced in but was left with three wires which were going into speaker footwell I cut these anyway and removed immobiliser. Re: Non start
Dme is definitely in the right location, it doesn't click when removing or pushing back in but if I jump the pins 87a 87b and 30 icv starts buzzing so does the abs pump like what would normally happen if you turned ignition on.
How would I supply or rectify the ignition 'on' signal?

So what can cause the relays/icv/abs not to click with ignition on? I've tried a known working dme relay but this didn't work but jumping pins 30/87/87 gets them to click

Re: Wiring loom auto v manual (m20)
I believe that mod is done when you use a m30 loom I'm not too sure but if so it's only two wires.
Big relief with the auto loom working seems a manual loom for an m20 is upwards of £100 now, not surprising with the way prices are going lately supply and demand I guess.

Re: M30 manifold
I can't help with the manifolds mentioned but I'll be using some racing dynamics headers which have been modified to fit in the e30(originally of a e34 535) and also use e46 Rack. I've bought some mounts of 300mm.de which help with clearance with a 6branch so worth a look on their site unless your s...

1983 320 Jetronic no start
Hopefully someone is familiar with the Jetronic system, I have an early 320 which does not start. I believe it's a fuel related issue as some easy start will get it going, fuel pump hums and works when trying to start but it just won't kick into life. Has anyone had similar issues or can pass some i...
