Windscreen wipers not working properly
My wipers do not work properly on intermitent. You have to hold the stock down to keep them working as soon as you let go they stop in the middle of the windscreen. Is this a motor or switch problem

Hi guys. Many thanks. Work is all completed. Master cylinder replaced and also replaced thermostat. Nice easy clutch and lots of heat now. Thermostat sitting exactly half way all the time.

Many thanks people for all the info. There does not seem to be any air in the system so I will change the stat at the weekend and let you know how I get on.

Hi yes the needle does move from the bottom of the blue to the top. I checked the waterlevel before starting the car this am and it took less than 1/4 of a pint to bring it to the cold mark. Done approx 60 miles since and level has not dropped at all. Again I checked when the car was cold. How do I ...

Temperature guage sits on blue all the time
Hi My 318i temp guage sits on the top edge of the blue all the time. I have also noticed that the heater never really blows hot air even on full,. Could this be a head gasket problem?

Yes I was going to attempt it myself. One of the reason I bought the car was to be able to do some work myself although I am not an expert as you can tell. Once again thanks for the advice and of course the welcome.

Hi I am new to the site. Just bought myself a really nice 318i. There are a couple of problems. The clutch is very soft and if you touch it very lightly the pedal goes all the way in with no resistance. If you press it firmly or pump it it's fine. There appears to be no fluid loss.
