Does this get parked on the stranmillis road most days? Definately recognise it, and there can't be many tech ones as clean as that in NI!

I have been researching this for quite a while now, and lowering springs and shocks has been my solution unfortunately. I'll post pics of the drop and my set up once I have the car back from it's respray.

Iirc this is a 318i? If it is, the JOM coilovers wont work, their inserts and spring perches are for the 51mm struts found on 6-cylinder e30's. Are the wings with side repeaters not US Spec as opposed to prefacelift eko? My 87' still has side repeaters, i'd seriously condider removing them if i could find some way round the MOT. Some really realy early prefacelifts might lack side repeaters but all cars made after 85 have to have them. Also...

To be honest, if i got those i'd have to fiddle with shortened dampers etc and it still wouldn't please me, i'm pretty set on the coilovers, especially as they're local. Cheers anyway!

Haha I well should've seen 60/60 in your sig. I'd want to go a tad lower at the front and by the time i'd priced up drop hats or needlessly awkward 60/75 kits it was much easier and only slightly more expensive to go for coils. Not gonna get them for a while tho, needs arch work/ respray first then ...

Haha, at some stage in the future I'd love to drop an m50 in there but only when insurance and my mechanical knowedge allow.
