WOW just priced an OEM tank £800 + VAT

Im.taking mine out to do some body repairs so I'm just looking to see what my options are. I knew BMW would be expensive but I was thinking more around the 500 + Vat mark.

The model is an 89 325is

Just looking to know guys have any of you replaced your fuel tank and if so was it straight OEM or have you tried an aftermarket manufacturer

Is there any fuel tank companies in the UK who would produce a tank to rival or better OEM quality?
