Thankfully the front window has started working again :hammer: However with the rear one I tried the switch on the centre console as well as on the door and neither worked, so I'm guessing it's motor related rather than to do with the switches. My 335i is generally smoother on lpg than it is petrol. Pulls a wee bit harder on petrol at the top end though

Thanks to the earlier help I'd essentially done what you've suggested

I didn't know about the risk of fuel leaking but there's never more than about a tenners worth of fuel in the tank, as the damned thing leaks (which makes having no gauge even more annoying).

The pumps works, it's just that the gauge doesn't :( It shows a random amount of fuel and the light has a mind of it's own too :mad: Had a look at it this evening and unplugging the plug made the gauge stop working. The Haynes manual says it's either in the boot or under the rear seats but a quick look suggests finding out which may be a bit of an effort.

So I though the kind folks of the E30 Zone might be able to help

Cheers for the replies. I've pulled the plug out of the ABS ECU and the problem has effectively gone away. Just need to fix the root cause now so I can plug the ABS back in

Can anyone tell me how to switch the ABS off?
