do all models have the same loom, i.e have they all got air con connections regardless if they had it or not?

have a mate hose it while your inside and see if it runs inby the floor

my cab has been stripped,wheels leather etc but i need to get the shell taken away,any one know who can do this in south yorks?

my 87 320 cab is getting crushed,taking things off but just wondered if theres any point in removing the a/c money wise?

i,ve never had matching tyre tread on any bm i,ve owned and no problems.if 1 gets worn stick another on. done.

my 96 528 always goes left, has done since i got it,goes right when you drive back to 50+ when stationery. 740 same too

ok thanks,i did connect it too the braided one but nothing happened,so i have swapped brushes out of replacement one and ok now

run a live from batt to starter if it clicks hit the solenoid with a long bar or rock the car back and forth in gear

i did try that and nothing happened i.e no click or starter. it,s a green and black wire seems to run the blower and the windows.
my mistake i thought it was a pre facelift or are cabs a mixture?

my starter broke recently which i have replaced with another but it is different.i have 4 wires from loom 2 thick 1 10m/m and 1 8m/m which went on to solenoid,two together on 13m/m 1 on 10 1 on 8.however new one only has 1 13m/m and 1 10m/m at bottom,can i join the 8 and 10m/m together on the bottom...

the wipers on my car only work on full speed,so i took apart and cleaned as per wiki but the disc that the contacts touch is rotten so i have covered the disc in foil and all ok now.question is will this be ok or is it dangerous

as above,has any one used this on an alloy engine,as i need to get my 740 to donny from hertford so i can strip it.poss head gasket failure,runs fine don,t overheat on tickover(over an hour)any thoughts?

also be a cheap header tank as the caps don,t seal right.i have same car,noise you hear first is the cannister at front drivers side behind rad,mines done that for at least 90,000 so ignore it should go once warm.mine does pressure high always has,take off oil cap when its running,put your hand over...

check your donut by the exhaust manifold,then jack up and check springs haven,t come out of the cup thing as they can when left in the air

check fluid condition and see if belt is slipping,has it just started doing it or gradual

i use clarke sockets as they are intended for all uses,have a look on machine mart and it will tell what ones.torque up fine and had them years

i,ll see if theres any markings on it,yes i know it,s prob worst combo but it was the right colour etc,it,s doing 30 odd at 70 and 37 at 60 but you need to be at 70 at least nowadays

i use my 88 320 auto on motorways a lot and need to know what ratio would be best to drop the revs improving economy,i dont boot it,and its a standard box no sport option

i seem to have two throttle cables on my car but others i,ve seen have not,i don,t have cruise control? but it does have a/c so is it the rev control for that?

they shear after a whack,or if one bolt is loose......i had a dodgy one( turned out to be immobiliser)that i whacked to start and that done same thing

if thats part of the old starter you could put some metal strip from that bolt to the good one and that would hold it in place till you get one from ebay saving you a lot.it must have had a thump to it in the past,possible jammed.
