well i have been working abroad for over 6 year but still staying in the uk it was a stipulation with my last work that i had to live in the uk. i started a new job 6 months ago and now have have decided its time to move as this new job has no stipulations where i can stay. the sport is not realy sp...

so as long as it's sorn'd it dose not need to be insured thats not so bad some one told me diffrent

im still split my head is saying sell it with an mot and still running but my heart say stick it in storage my grandfather dose have a barn i could use for free but its not that dry.

mrlee30 i did worry about the rusty bits i havent had time to sort spreading and the savings account dose make sense
all this sorn and insurance bull s**t they have come out with now too for stored cars

well my contract is for 18 months but if things go well it could be longer i gues thats not exactly short

well im sad to say my old sport is might be looking for a new home.

im moving out to the far east so taking it is not practical but i have thought of storing it but if things go well i will be staying out there for the long haul.

what would you guys do?

i got my solar trickle charger from maplan for £19 an its still good over 4 years later.
just keep mine on the parcel shelf with the lead in to the boot and just connect it when i go away to work and it works fine altho that is only a month or 2 at a time

filling up you tank to the brimm could save you a few quid as with the way things are just now petrol has bound to have gone up in the time she has been sitting tucked up + stops the condensation eating the tank from the inside win win

ask your friend how much it cost to insure with it being modified an all or was he flying under the radar with that?

shame it has come to this allot of unneeded stress for you over a relatively small job.
