I've got the early, heavy, large type starter on my car and I'm looking for a smaller, lighter alternative.

This could be just a later motor, or does the M50, M54 type fit and give any weight or power advantage?

Yep, definately a Torsen, was from a none M Z3 roadster

No probs for me on E30tech

None 'M' Z3's had the Torsen type LSD when the SA was ordered.
