 Liam, any good 12V source is fine mate, just make sure you connect to the correct pins. Checking for comms is defo the no1 priority, you need it to setup the TPS limits before any 1st start attempt. you loaded the software and file up ok dude ? Hi Ant, 
I've got the early, heavy, large type starter on my car and I'm looking for a smaller, lighter alternative.
This could be just a later motor, or does the M50, M54 type fit and give any weight or power advantage?
