Re: Part number and price please

Hi Jon,

No, that is the actual jacking point.

(not my picture) This square metal section. I believe used for transporting the shell around the assembly line?

Part number and price please

Hi,

Looking for the part number and price for the front "jack point" square metal piece under the front floor pan next to the sill that always rusts away.

I can't seem to find it on realoem.

Thanks,

Central locking help

Can any of you lovely people give me some help with a central locking problem? It's not worked for the past 5 years now, I've finally had enough and plan on sorting it. I have bought a good used control unit, when plugged in and I move the drivers door lock the two relays inside click. Not much else...

There is currently no CL relay fitted, I assume this brakes the whole circuit.

Re: Battery drain on fuse 28

Only things on 28, connected there by BMW, are the lighter, electric windows and roof with the doors open, and the electric aerial. The wire is red/yellow, and doesn't stray very far from the area behind the glovebox - it comes down the duct from the fusebox to the accessories socket, and a second ...

Re: Battery drain on fuse 28

I replaced the dash a few years ago and would of removed anything like that I'm sure. I will have another good look just in case.
The central locking packed up last year, I'm not sure if that's part of the problem but it's the next thing I'm looking into after the battery.

Battery drain on fuse 28

Finally got around to looking at this issue. I have metered the current across all the fuses and fuse 28 is drawing 0.6A. So I have check opening and closing the doors, door switches are working ok. I have also disconnected the aerial, no difference either. Can anyone shine some light on what else I...

Sounds like it could be injector. I can say (and a few others on here) that an injector recon is a good idea anyway. There 20 years or so old now.

Re: Typical symptoms of a leaking injector.

Poor starting or missing when cold.

Take the rail out with the injectors in, turn key so the pump primes and look for a drip.

I recently had a good look around a s50 e30 turbo done by Gunni. The thread for the manifold was up on here somewhere. Speaking to the owner, he seemed to have similar problems with Gunni. The manifold was meant to be ceramic coated - instead high temp paint was used. The welding was average. Main p...
