Rossco's twin-turbo V8 on video. A very special one for me!
Evening gents, A couple of months back, I asked if you knew of an E30 that was a little bit 'special'. Well, Ross Bradley's name was mentioned a few times. To my amazement Ross said I could drive the car (thanks again!), and here's the result... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHD_ipXhGaI Hope you e...

Does anyone have something that we could use and allow us/me to drive at Longcross (where they've shooting Spectre)?
Cheers!

Guys, thanks again for the positive words about the E9 Bat review. I've chatted to Ross (6.0, twin-turbo V8) who's given me a link to the extensive build thread. I'm in the process of organising a date soonish to see him and drive the car. Think the video should get a decent amount of love because i...

Morning guys, It's been many, many years since I've been on the Zone, but my love for E30s has not faded. In fact, I've promised myself a Touring at some point in the nearish future. Anyway, I digress. Reason I'm here is to ask if anyone would trust me enough to review their car for a video on Car T...

E60 M5 V10 (Ltd Ed.)
Morning guys, Was lucky enough to be given the keys to the above for a week, so thought it rude not to share some nice snaps and a quick video with E60 fans. One of the sweetest exhaust notes ever, but the gearbox is a massive let down as a few will probably agree with. http://www.carthrottle.com/re...

Haha. This thing's really divided opinion, but BMW did it with the M3 back in 2011, so why the hell not do it with the M5. If it appears this year April 1st, you saw it here first

Hi guys, I saw a Vauxhall Maloo the other day and wondered what a new M5 pickup version would look like. My mate does car renderings as a living and here's what he came up with. I wrote some bumpf to go with it. Interested to hear your thoughts on this. http://www.carthrottle.com/bmw-m5-pick-up-the-...

I do videos at the place I work now and we'll have an E60 M5 vs Lexus IS-F coming in a couple of weeks. Plenty of exhaust noise included. I'll make sure to chuck a link up here when it's done
Decent E30 review is something I want on the site, though!

I had a look again and both lines on each side look pretty fooked. They're rusty as far as I can see going under the fuel tank.
Sag, if the offer still stands for the tools and help, I'll gladly take you up on that. I'll obviously give you generous beer money for the help, too

Hi guys, Cheers for the replies! Pretty glad to hear that the tank doesn't need to come out! And thanks Harry for your suggestion of flexies and spring clips - makes sense. My only trouble, though, is getting the car high enough off the ground to get it all done. Axle stands at the side of the road ...

MOT fail...rear brake line - HELP
Does anyone know of a good garage or anyone who could help me replace a rear brake line - not flexi pipe...
It involves taking the fuel tank out and won't be easy, so I'm told.
Been quoted over £350 for it, which I really can't afford.
I'm in London by the way
Cheers

Any idea where I can source a wing in colour??
Hi guys,
been looking for a n/s/f wing in sterling silver for months now, but to no avail. Looked here, e-bay, gumtree, scrappys etc, but no luck.
Any specialist places I can try? I can't afford to get one sprayed unfortunately...

I got one for showing my student card. I studied automotive journalism, but if you do/did engineering etc, you'll get one. Maybe print out an 'acceptance' letter from a uni. 944 S2 is definitely an idea. My folks used to own an N/A 2.5-litre 163bhp when I was about 15 (11 yrs ago) and the handling is very good as is the gearbox. I'm not sold on the 928 though. It's much too rounded and just doesn't look right IMO - headlights and arse especially. Following on the S2 the...

Autoalex, do you know Martin Buckley then? Have a word with him, tell him to do a showdown along the lines of E30 325i or iS v contemporary Alfa/Audi etc. And make sure the E30 is dog dick red... I don't know Martin but have seen him on occasion. I'm more familiar with the editor and staff writers....
