hi all.e36 with a majour whistle breather pipe is blocked some where, does anyone know where the crank case breather pipe is on theses and also what other breather pipes there is that could cause this... many thanks

hi i have a 2.5i on a f plate i have just put a new engine in and it is hunting on tickover, the old engine did this aswell. also when the car is cold it judders when you are driving at certain revs. any help would be great cheers.

if you ring up your local bmw dealer you can buy the all the bits to tighten it up for about 30 pound, just describe your problem they should know what bits are responsable. also a z3 shift lever helps know end.

use a probe tester to trace them then you will know what your dealing with.....

got a feeling it might be coolant. is it a easy job inspecting the matrix and tubing. It's fairly easy to do but you'll need to remove the centre consol and various other bits to get at it. I'm in the process of doing mine whilst taking a few pictures so I'll post em up once I'm done if you think i...

Have the same trouble with mine, though i defo have a hole in the bulkhead!! Worth having a look at some of the other threads on wet footwells as, having looked under the carpet in mine, the backing to the carpet is thick foam and can literally hold gallons of water - the small patch you can see is...

the wet patch does feel a bit greasy I thought it might have just been some old carpet shampoo mixing with the water. do you reckon this could be the heater valve.daimlerman wrote:Rot in the bulkhead?

hi i have a 2.5 four door and there seems to be water pooling in the passenger footwell, its only a patch about the size of my hand on the carpet that is wet. i have cleaned the elephants trunk out inside the engine bay but water is still gettin in somehow , any ideas

hi my petrol light comes on randomly and also the red lights on my warning panel above the rear view mirror come on randomly i have a f plate 2.5i, think it might be a earth fault has anyone got any ideas on this and if its a earth fault where do i start looking. cheers e30 legends.

i had the same sort of issues and bought a new si board but did not cure the problem so got hold of a new cluster sorted it fine, cluster had 56 thou result. they just seem very tempamentle mate i think a new cluster is the way to go, have you got any mates with e30s so you can try there cluster in ...

hi i have a 325 on a f plate. when i accelarate to pull away for a split second it feels like it is going to die then it springs into life its only a very small delay. it feels like the the fuel is not ignighting at the exact time it is feed in. does anyone know what this might be. thanks for any re...

no they are funny little 3 v batterys in my opinion mate you would be better to get a new board as the batterys are soldered in and are covered with a rubber silocone so are very hard to get out. i got my board for 40 pound. i still have problems though...........
