I dealt with Bob a fair time ago, went to pick an exhaust up off him even though I had loads of problems getting there, cool guy, really good to deal with. Held the exhaust for me and was very understanding, top bloke!

Posting in here once again cos I can't say enough good things about Mick! Top fella, sorted me out with what I need, sorted me out straight away when I realised I had the wrong trailing arm, no issues at all. Might as well have repaired my car himself the amount of help and even advice he's given me!

Re: Powerfull E30 handling!!!
I only have moderate power so not to sure about the op's question. I am amazed at how many dislike the wet, with practice its great fun and and extremely rewarding! Practise?! I was "practising", then my car decided to involve itself with Pong style antics, one curb to the other... didn't end well....

Re: jerky steering over bad roads..normal or what?
I used to get small vibration through the wheels, when I went to get wheels balanced, one of my alloys was buckled and that was the cause. Maybe it's just the fact that your wheels are buckled?

Re: Bent Wishbone on a 318is, easy to fix?
Basically, the rear wheel is pointing inwards at the bottom. I've had the original wheel off, which was mullered, and I actually can't see anything out of place, or anything obvious! But when the new wheel was put on, it still points inward at the bottom so something is buggered somewhere. Any ideas...

Bent Wishbone on a 318is, easy to fix?
Hi all, buckled the nearside wheels thanks to car meeting curb sideways at speed, anyway, the rear nearside isn't sitting correctly, it's towing in, like a reverse camber haha. Anyway, any suggestions what this could be? I think bent wishbone, in which case, is this an easy fix, or is likely to cost...

Im 22, but had my first E30 when I turned 20, which is my red 320i SE auto. At 21 I bought a 325i project car. I'm contemplating my 3rd E30 as we speak! (2nd 325i). Mainly to do with the fact my 320i is basically dead now, rust destroying the scuttle, pink disease, and so on. I've also had an E34 5...

If you want to be different, then just be sensible unlike most of the other young knobheads out there. If you really must get an E30 or any other BMW as your first car, then definitely get the 316i and drive sensibly. Comfortable, smooth, nice to drive. Speed means fuck all really...

Re: CALLING ALL 318IS DRIVERS, WHATS YOUR 318IS LIKE ON FUEL
I went to my fav road the other day and reset the trip computer, i averaged 18mpg :D And where would that be? Anything short of the B road that links Great Broughton and Helmsley (yorkshire TT route I believe?) and I'll be disappointed! I got 32mpg out of my last run, which I thought was horrendous...

Re: Regular Vibration every 1 or 2 seconds...
Hard to say, i only feel the vibration through the wheel really, but if I had to guess, I'd say engine area, as it happens when idling.

Regular Vibration every 1 or 2 seconds...
Ok, I'm hoping very much that you knowledgable people can help on this one. Basically, when I'm driving along, more noticable at higher speeds but I think it's happened when idling too, there is a sort of cyclical vibration, it's somewhere between 1 - 2 seconds, almost like a pulse, and yes it's reg...

Re: Fuel level inaccuracy
Sorry to Hijack but my question is kind of related. I have a 318is (1990), what was the standard tank size in that? My fuel indicator seems to do what it wants as well when I'm driving, goes right down if I give it the throttle a squeeze, then it may go back to normal later lol, but the other day wh...

Re: Tyre Sizes - Easy one
Stock would be 205/55/15, some people prefer 205/50 for a wider choice and slightly lower sidewall. I run 205/55/15 Dunlop SP9000 and I think they are fantastic, the most popular recommendation is Toyo Proxes. I'd still want the same overall diameter as the standard 14's for the sake of gearing, bu...

Just a quick one, I know my tyre sizes are wrong, just wondering if someone could tell me the correct ones and a recommended tyre pressure.

Re: Lowering and insurance?
Some companies will give you a cheaper quote for a lowered car, I think Adrian Flux are one of them. I've always thought it best to insure every mod, to be on the safe side. I've seen varying degrees of arguments for and against insuring them like.
