E30 Zone

I'll be replacing my front shocks this week and know that removing inserts is a pain in the backside on other cars.

Is there any trick to it to make it easier on an e30?

If its a touring you wont need to swap the suspension.

But will be changing to some very controversial 15's when I get round to having them refurbed.

Think I'll just stick to a suspension kit over a full body drop!

I reckon I'll hedge my bets and go for a 60/40 kit. They seem to be pretty popular so it cant be that bad.

I'm getting shocks and springs, not just springs.

I'm about to buy a suspension kit for my car but cant decide what drop to go for.

Does anyone have any pictures of cars with 60/40 and 60/60 drops they could post so I can have a look? (its a touring but any pics will do)

I think this one came with them when it was new but has had some work on the front end (new bumper and valance) so I think they may have just tucked the wiring away. I'll have a hunt around. If I have to take the bumper off to get to the indicator wiring then hopefully something will become apparent...

yeah its a bit of a project. Lots of little bits and bobs to fix/change.

The main thing is it has a very solid shell, everything else can be fixed

My 325 has some problems with idling. Its either hunting for idle or revving at 1k when I let it drop to idle at lights etc. There's a bit of a pattern to it, but its not regular. After driving at normal speeds and revs when I dip the clutch it will rev at 1k, then gradually drop down until it start...
