Very sad to hear this. It's been a long time since i posted here as i no longer own an e30, but i met Malcolm a couple of times when i was around the zone at meet's and at Bexley's and he was a genuinely nice, friendly bloke. Condolences to his family, i'm sure he will be greatly missed by all. R.I....

Check ALL the intake pipes mate.
Had all sorts of trouble in the past usually resulting in a bad idle. Was someone here...Sal i think suggested it and i checked all the rubber bits. Solved the problem and got the idle back as it should have been.

Easy one here mate, Get yourself a small socket to fit the dizzy bolts, then use an allen key on the socket whatever the size is and it's a piece of pisz m8 :wink: . It makes the job a lot easier! Easy one here mate,
Get yourself a small socket to fit the dizzy bolts, then use an allen key on the socket whatever the size is and it's a piece of pisz m8 :wink: . It makes the job a lot easier!

If you have the Sports auto box it could be an e.c.u problem mate, an easy swap for fault finding.
otherwise on the standard auto sounds like a selector or box problem as you have changed the inhibitor already!!

First one looks like the old style alarm override.
Second could be the aerial one for the lockable type.

Hi all, Today was one of them days where i had a great chance to go out for a blast. Kids were happy in the garden, Mrs was happy doing her own thing and i had about an hour to do what i fancied-sun shining etc... So i took the car out for a spin and came home feeling empty and unfulfilled, fwd suck...

Well today was a bad day for me guys. I've decided to sell the Sport due to a financial nightmare!!. I need the cash badly due to a house move which has so far bled me dry :cry: . I think these beasts are the nuts. I'm not sure about the Cab's but i'm seriously thinking about the 4 door as a replacement for the Sport. Seems to be the usual pitfalls regarding costs etc with parts being that bit more expensive. There are a lot of destroyed ones about though at the lower end of ...
