Factory Fit Immobiliser removal

Does anybody have any experience or advice on how I can get rid of this system, the circuit board has a loose connection and so it won't start on occassion, I can't find a replacement so I'm hoping to find someone to strip it out?

Re: Regular Vs Jimmy Hill, any opinions?

Thanks a lot lads two for, two against and some personal tastes

I definitely don't want a modified look but the fact that's it's body colour really appeals but without skirts or a different rear valance worried it might look nose heavy, mine does have the rear spoiler though

Anyone have any experience fitting one of these, does it need an amp to work correctly, and presumably the standard speakers are going to need an upgrade?

Anyone used the car check 0906 number BMW gave me before

Called BMW to try and track down some history for my motor, hoping to piece together some service paperwork and an original spec sheet to solve the mystery of my interior. They gave me 0906 209 0001 which is a premium rate number, didn't want to dial up at work but before I run up a massive bill, an...

Just ordered a new wire from BM and will be crimping tonight, one question, I don't have the second fabric step shown in your picture, it looks like a cosmetic cover for the main straps is that right?

Brilliant Ben thanks, got the part number for the wire from RealOEM and just got the last one in the UK from my dealer £15 and they'll have it this afternoon, so hopefully with a bit of crimping I will be in top folding form for the weekend.

Re: Any convertible owners in Milton Keynes? Help needed

Manual, I can take a pic but it looks like there is only one of them, it looks like there should be a thin bar sewn into the roof and attached to the webbing straps that run front to back, because it's not there the fabric isn't folding right and I have to manually push it into the right position

I need to talk to you about a stand for the hardtop as well, is there a best way to get in touch?
