Re: What about this BBR turbo manifold?

Any idea how many BBR manifolds there are in existence?

Re: piston movement??

There shouldn't be a vast amount of movement, but there will be a clearance from the piston to bore wall which gets bigger the colder the engine.

That's why we have piston rings, to take up the gap!

Re: Turbo question

about Ԛ£4500 ish and that was with me doing all the work, although the ECU was Ԛ£750 and the brakes and wheels constitited other big chunks at over Ԛ£600 each.

Piss, I forgot to sign in, I'm at a mate's house (this is Turbo-Brown by the way :) )

Re: biggest bhp from a 325

Think PPF have just extracted over 700bhp from an M20 using the diesel crank to give a 2.7 plus some decent management, big intercooler, giant turbo and a trick inlet manifold......and then there's the rods, pistons and cams.

If you've got a lot to spend, you can make silly power :D

Re:

Right, last time when I posted about this, I just jiggled the solenoid activation wire around and it worked fine for weeks and weeks. Then I used the car last Monday to go to the dentist and it hesitated to start again. Put a new connector on the activation wire today and it started fine on the driv...

Looked into redrilling just last week.

There's not really enough meat around the holes to make them 4x108 unfortunately.

Had thought about machining up some alloy hubs, but the jury's still out on that one at the moment.

It's just worn out I think, god knows how many miles it's done, and it started out life on my trials bike which had really hard brake blocks on hydraulic brakes which probably didn't help.

Arse, can't seem to log out at me mate's house!

Yeah, Maplin's online thing is gay and doesn't show their whole stock! You can either go into a store and ask for the stuff, or do what I lazily did and buy an XLR microphone lead which is two core+shielded and perfect for CPS applications :) EDIT> Sorry, at a mate's house logged in as him but didn'...
