Interesting month with my 323i

It's been a while since I've posted here but I've had an interesting month with the E30 so I thought I'd share it with you. When I got my 323i about 4 or 5 years ago the clutch was about 1/2 worn. Since then I've done more than 40,000km (the odometer stopped 20,000km after I got it but I've done at ...

Re:

I had Greenstuff on my 323i for a while and had no problems with them. Never noticed any fade or problems after about a year of track days and autocross events. BUT when I changed them it was pretty clear they had been overheated so I went with some different ones. The Greenstuff had minimal brake d...

Re: What tyres are best?

The Toyo R1R work well on my 323i on the road and the track, wet or dry. They are a targa rally type tyre. Dunno what sizes they come in though, mine are 205/50/16.

I dont agree that the car will take a tighter circle. The actual path the car takes is a line drawn by the path of the centre of gravity of the vehicle. In the situation you desribe the centre of gravity of the vehicle (say the dead centre of the cabin for example) is actually taking a larger radiu...
