Cleaning BBS 'basketweaves'
Does anyone know of the best way to clean BBS 'basketweave' wheels? They sure attract muck. I went for a drive today for 80 km south of Canberra, Australia and wheels I cleaned recently need cleaning again. At 26 degrees C there was no snow of course and the hood of my cab was down. My previous cab ...

Bottle tops v basketweaves
I've had a 320i with bottletops and compared to the BBS basketweaves which I now have on my 325i they are MUCH easier to clean. If anyone can give me advice on how best to clean basketweaves I would appreciate it. Also my basketweaves have a plastic centre cap which I'm not thrilled about. So yes I ...

Yellow coating in engine bay
I'm on my third E30 and the one I own now an Alpine white 1990 cab has a lot of the yellow coating on the engine and other parts like the strut towers and even in apertures in the bonnet. My mechanic said it was OK and was put on by the factory, but I don't recall my two other cars having it on any ...

BMW E30 cab
Scuttle shake isn't bad at all and I'm emailing from Australia where our roads are not as smooth as in England. Re cab sports seats. I have a problem as my drivers seat does not want to go up so I can be at a good height. Could the mechanism be broken? I had the same problem with a similar cab I own...

Cab colours
Can anyone tell me what were the most popular original colours for cabs in England? Here in Australia we started getting them late 1987, many were Alpinweiss or red. Diamantschwarz, Delphin, Cirrusblau and Royalblau were also reasonably popular. Much rarer colours were Luxorbeige (I owned a 320i one...

Heidi
I have an E30 cab in Alpinweiss II.
I call her Heidi, because it is a Germanic name, and because Heidi lived in the Alps and because she 'hides' in the garage a lot!

E30
Hi Great work!. I'm from Canberra Australia and owned an 1988 Luxor beige 320i auto convertible. I loved the Luxor Beige and found the colour very rare in Australia. I've never seen another E30 cab and in the 8 years i owned it only saw an E30 sedan in Luxor. I now have a 91 E30 cab in Alpinweiss 2....
