An Alfa 90! :o I've only ever seen one of them, and i owned it :P the car in question was an E plate (i think!) 2.5 V6, with one former keeper, an old boy local to me. It popped up at an auction about 4 or 5 years ago and as the bids were struggling at Ԛ£100 i thought it would be rude not to ta...

only one disagreement from me! for an engine to be in the peak of health it doesn't need to be minimal miles! quality stuff like bmw's are often better and quicker once they've loosened up a bit, and i'll stand by that to the death if necessary! :P i love high milers personally, if they still sound ...

it'd be a lot easier and quicker to swap engines than mix and match heads and stuff i reckon - more worthwhile too but you said you weren't going down the engine swap road so that's that  stuff like the anti roll bars and whatever else you fancy off the i.s should go straight on - if the seats ...

cracks in the dash are par for the course in e30's it seems, especially one as old as an '87. out of the 10 e30's i've had i'd say half of them had cracks! as long as it doesn't bother you then it's fine 8) as to whether it's worth £500, well if it's in really nice condition and you're willing to ...
