seriously though, i'd have thought the last person on earth who'd rather have a pinto in a bmw than a bmw engine probably died a long time ago :P i take it you dont agree with my cossie engine then as im sure the cossie was based on a pinto block :D odd conversion though for sure  not true! :w...

i saw an m50 2.5 powered capri (unfinished, natch) on ebay a while back...spiritual swap? and this reminded me of a little picture i saw years ago (about 18 8O ) in "streetmachine" magazine (remember that?) of a mk4 cortina with BMW badges, quad lights, kidney grilles and so on...but where that is s...

An Alfa 90! :o I've only ever seen one of them, and i owned it :P the car in question was an E plate (i think!) 2.5 V6, with one former keeper, an old boy local to me. It popped up at an auction about 4 or 5 years ago and as the bids were struggling at Ԛ£100 i thought it would be rude not to ta...

Re: pic request please
IS bits then??? ...won't go anywhere near a G-plate, metal bumper cab! and the only "bit" is the lower chin spoiler thing, which my i.s is missing :( different shape front valance on your car m8, how about the tech-1 325 sport kit? straight on (valances anyway, side skirts might need a bit of frigg...

only one disagreement from me! for an engine to be in the peak of health it doesn't need to be minimal miles! quality stuff like bmw's are often better and quicker once they've loosened up a bit, and i'll stand by that to the death if necessary! :P i love high milers personally, if they still sound ...

i might be over-estimating my own driving abilities a bit, but that sounds like the car for me. want one! now preferably, but i don't mind waiting till they dip to four figures (have no choice actually lol)orangecurry wrote: 321BHP of evil, stab you in the back handling - he swopped ends in it constantly

it'd be a lot easier and quicker to swap engines than mix and match heads and stuff i reckon - more worthwhile too but you said you weren't going down the engine swap road so that's that  stuff like the anti roll bars and whatever else you fancy off the i.s should go straight on - if the seats ...

a job doing what exactly? are there many opportunities for Sid James impersonators? :P back on topic, i'll be really sad to see TBMW go, it's the only magazine i've bought regularly for about 5 years  it had a good mix of stuff, plenty of old-skool which is what i'm into (and why i rarely buy b...

expensive, and a bit pointless? surely the (insane) buyer of this car wouldn't want to drive it for fear of upping the miles or wearing and tearing - a 15k e30 shaped ornament! a scruffy 200k miler for a grand would be my choice, to get driven properly  and the change? 911 C2, E39 M5,...

if it's solid underneath, shiny on top and mechanically sound, and the 80k seems to be genuine, then yeah why not? tough car to value though, the 320i isn't a valuable model as such (though i dunno why, there's a lot to like about them) but that one sounds tidy and a nice spec. sounds worth it altho...

cracks in the dash are par for the course in e30's it seems, especially one as old as an '87. out of the 10 e30's i've had i'd say half of them had cracks! as long as it doesn't bother you then it's fine 8) as to whether it's worth £500, well if it's in really nice condition and you're willing to ...

Hotbox that's the whole point of a show car mate. Pimp 1st comfort second. Besides you do thing's on a show car to show what can be done and not for practical reasons. not as bad as i expected to be honest! 8O the suicide rear doors are supahfly and something i'd like on my own car, i love the wire-spoke wheels (although not really working on that) and it's quite low on nasty additions - still don't work though  the whole concept of pmruk doesn't work as far...

In the jungle, the mighty jungle
The 325i sleeps tonight! Nah, it's only a little overgrown layby/track to nowhere, me and the missus pulled over for some "meaningful conversation" (roundabout the time a big rip appeared in me passenger seat, high heels lol  ) anyway i get out to stretch the legs and i turn back and i think "...
