Re: Trying to fit a steering wheel

How can you tell

Is it the fittings on the back that give it away?

Is it from an E34?

Hi guys

Photos of the wheel.

It does measure 385mm in diameter but so does the one already on the tourer.

Re: Trying to fit a steering wheel

Hi guys

I dont have a problem with getting the old wheel off. The guy from the garage is saying that when you come to fit the new wheel there is no physical way for the wheel to attach to the existing boss.

Can you get a new steering boss to fit the my tourer that will fit to the wheel?

Trying to fit a steering wheel

Help please!

Got myself a leather 3 spoke wheel off an 1989 E30.

I am trying to fit it to my 1992 tourer.

The local garage has said it wont fit. Something to do with the way the steering lock is positioned and the steering boss.

Does anyone know how to fit the wheel.

Re: Not tickled Pink

Colour not that bad. Just showing signs of "pinking up"

Gonna do a web search for body shops unless any one has any suggestions for the Worcester/Kidderminster area

Not tickled Pink

Evening all  As my 316i is in need of a little TLC (bit of rust and a mop required) I thought I would vist a local body shop which was highly recommended. First of all the rust issues. Two small spots on both rear arches and a small section on the tail gate where the glass meets the body work. ...

Re: From pink to red

From pink to red

:) Evening all.

Got my self an off red (slighty pink!) 316i tourer.

I have tried T-cut and polish with some success.

Does anyone have advice on how to get it back to the original shiny red with out resorting to a respray.

Any advice welcomed.

Hi there. Lenses look great.

Can you tell me where you bought them from as I am looking for lenses, new bumber trims and various other bits for my 316i tourer.
