to be honest id use 15w 40 as with an older engine the viscosity of 10w40 wil see it just get burnt away easily

turns out blower motor is seized....so anyone got a new one? Seen a few E30's in and around darlington...next to exhaust a fix garage.

Well to start with when I bought the car my blowers were working great, plenty of hot air. Few weeks down the line they are only working blowing cold air. But today they not even working at all! Is this the Maccy D's near the showcase cinema in teeside, wow I nearly crashed there too! Coming back onto the a66 my back end slid out and my front left wheel mounted the kerb. I was very lucky to control it

Had a puncture on my front tyre and cant afford to get a new tyre yet and there is no way of repairing it.

Well i suggest he charges the battery, how hard can it be :mad: There are only so many things to check in this situation, take the battery to get checked by halfords or some one who has the correct equipment, just to make sure you aint bought a duff battery, it can happen. Check all the wiring leadi...

Most likely the alternator isnt charging the battery. Have a check of the battery with a Voltmeter to make sure it has power.
The reading should be around 12v without ignition started and around 13v with ignition on.

Powder coating is probs the best option, it is more durable than paint. But make sure to either get it blasted of wire brushed really smooth. The smoother the better

New to bmw's - just need a little bit of advice, where would the best/cheapest place to get a new radiator for a e30 318i Touring. G - Reg. Any help appreciated
