There is a large rubber grommet behind/underneath the glove box, with wiring looms passing through it into the engine compartment. Check that this is in place properly, the condition of the metal surrounding it, and the condition of the two 6mm studs on the bulkhead that the glovebox hinge bolts to...

Alrite zoners. I may be going to see a 325ci sport on the weekend. Any one had and problems with these? any thing i should be looking out for? and what to check over. im 80% sure its downwards, but if not just turn the drum by hand and if its rubbing / too tigh, turn the adjuster the oppisite way.

Cheers guys. the other problem was the steering rack, ive changed it for a second hand one but ran into a problem. the track rod end ball joint keeps spinning when i tighten the nut. iv'e tried jacking it but same problem. the old rack had alen key holes on the top but this ones got nothing. any ide...

hi zoners. As i go up in the revs in mostly 1st and 2nd gear, theres a "wooooohing" noise comming i THINK from the propshaft, people sitting in the back cannot hear it and its not from the engine. it gets louder as the revs go up and it doesnt happen all the time, just randomly. i changed thee diff ...

It could even be comming from the sunroof seal it self if the bench is wet. Id check this first

had a look at the connector and found the bottom half is indeed corroded. so i am in the middle of soldering and the top connector has 1 more wire going into it than the bottom 1? what do i do with this?

sorry its a 325i. im not lookin for the the blue temp sensor, iv'e seen other threads and it states theres a connector under the mani that corrodes away and is best hardwired together
