If the mechanic is 100% sure, then ask him to purchase the fuel pump and replace it. If it fixes the problem, then pay for the part. If it doesn't, then it's his loss and needs to investigate further. Or get a 2nd opinion from another local mechanic. I can vouch for Brian's advice and has always bee...

check fuel pump is being engaged when turning on the car. Located under the rear bench.

All well, yep definitely made a difference and drove much smoother and the mpg improved.
Just treated her with a set of smoked genuine MHW tailgate lights and genuine smoked hella front lamps for the winter

Hi,
Quick question, I have driven the car around 500 miles since it was last serviced last year in late September.
Is it worth carrying out an oil and filter change or do I leave it until I get more miles on it.

The central locking works perfectly and works with the alarm fob aswell.
I will check the brown/green wire and see if its all connected accordingly.

I have had a look, two wires are connected to the switch of the following colour:
Brown/Yellow

Before i attempt this, will i expect gearbox oil to pour out when this is removed and will it need topping up again. Sorry if its stupid question, just want to be prepared.

Hi, Today I activated the alarm on the car and the turn signals blinked with no sound from the siren. When I deactivate the alarm the turn signals blink and car doors unlock. I've had a similar issue and turn out to be a faulty fuel pump. Fuel pump is under the rear seats on the driver's side.
