i had this exact same problem the fault on mine was a small crack where the cps joins on the ht lead, mositure was getting into it while the car was sat overnight, a set of leads and a new sensor solved it for me.

hi, i have a 1991 316i auto in alpine white 2, done 92k car is very clean and solid only rusty spot is on the rear bumper about 2p size coin(just bubbleing) everywhere else is fine, engine and gbox are good and smooth and everthing is as it shoud be, car is standard except for some silly wheels and ...

check with car in neutral while the engine is runningProToZyKo wrote:When cold it will show more on the stick.
Start the car put it in each gear for a few seconds, then check the stick, and refill if needed.
I usually drive a little after to make sure it takes all that it need then recheck the stick.

because every1 my age has the "worlds best corsa" with a stupid bodykit that looks more suitable being selotaped to a skip, when i came across a e30! stupidly cheap and ott clean with no rust at all! then i fell in love
