Looking for touring rear spring cups

Discovered some rot on my new touring, so going to get it sorted out asap. Its the chassis rails around where the suspension springs sit on the body of the car itself. Had my welder look at it and he thinks the chances are he can repair it with sheet, but would like the option of replacing the cups ...

what type of exhaust rubbers on a touring?

Just picked up a touring, but the exhaust knocks badly, its very loose and having a look at least one rubber is missing.

What type of rubbers are used on a touring 318 exhaust? Will pop out and get a complete set and renew them all i think

Re: Touring legs drilled at bottom, useless?

thing is, the fella at the scrappy will give these to me for nothing or very little, so if i can use them i will. I just bought a pair of AVOs sight unseen, turned up yesterday, so need to measure them to see if they are 51mm. I presume its the strut insert that is 51mm and not the leg itself? I hea...

Re: Replacing Disk Pads....

I can't remember the exact process, only done one set, but it will be very obviously what to do when you take the wheel off. I saw it and double checked with Zaust off here if I was right about what to do, as it looked so simple lol. Genuinely the easiest car I have ever changed pads on.

Touring legs drilled at bottom, useless?

Bit of a odd one, in my local breaker there is a touring with the front legs present. They have drilled a small hole (about4mm) on the bottom of each leg, obviously to drain the oil from the shock when depolluting the car. Would you say the legs are now useless? Obviously the shocks are, but with th...

So the motor asse line up on the later mech asembly itself and 3 of the other holes line up? Just the one to drill? I may go this route then, as they certainly look alot better

Best place for bucket seat subframes?

After a pair to mount my buckets in my e30, they are bottom mount ones, not side mounts. Does anyone make ones that bolt straight to the seat then into the car? Or are they in 2 bits? Really wanna start getting the car back together!

Subframes for my bucket seats?

I just finally got around to stripping the bodged subframes off my bucket seats, they were in a Tigra before  . What I am left with is 4 threaded boltholes. I am thinking there must be e30 specific subframes that bolt on to these? Anyone have a idea? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/dyane...
