iv been told the electric fan mod is easy enough to do and also gives you more power, is this true?

done the newspaper test and very glad to say it was the viscous fan that was knackered :D for a while there I thought it was the head gasket. thanks again for your help guys

yeah its fine when on a run just when left on idle it creeps up to 3/4 on gauge. also rad pipes go a bit hard. :( il try the newspaper test tomorrow and il let you's know how I get on. thanks again for your help guys :D

how do you check if viscous fan is working properly

having a little trouble with cooling and been advised to check the coupling on the viscous fan. not sure how to check this. help would be greatly appreciated.

could the heater matrix cause the rad pipes to go hard? was thinking of bypassing this to eliminate the matter. I don't have any wet carpet and the heaters work a treat. also going to change the temp sensor(the blue one on the thermostat)

yeah checked the hoses the one from the back of the head is at the bottom. is that rite?

I had the head skimmed and pressure tested before fitting even tho I was assured the head was good. I did it for my own piece of mind

hi guys iv recently put my e30 back on the road for summer, but last year I had to do the head gasket. I also renewed the rad the thermostat head bolts, dizy cap rotor arm. iv recently fitted full stainless exhaust and changed the plugs, but while out for a drive I was getting a splutter at 2000 rev...

yeah looks like iv learnt the hard way regarding aftermarket leads. it was just that i replaced the plugs so thought id do the leads. and like a write muppit i went n cut no 6 ht lead to pull the cid of :? cars running bad so looks like im going to have to buy a new set of oem leads. thanks for your...

pulse sensor?

orite guys was just wondering do i need the pulse sensor thats wrapped round number 6 ht lead. iv just changed to 8mm leads and cant get new ht lead threw it. was told car runs perfect without. is this true?

nice 1 thanks. what happens when the heater pipes are on the wrong way? would that cause a tiky noise? its nothing to do with horn or any panel rattle. not there on idle can come and go to

tiky noise? but only in cab?

hello fellow e30 owners. im getting a very annoying and embarrassing noise tiky bit like when your exhaust manifolds popin a bit but iv replaced gaskets and checked for leaks its not that.just seams to be inside the noise is any ideas?

thanks ill get on phone for a quote. anything else you can think of i mite need? was thinking thermostat . i recently did water pump timing belt and tensioner will these be ok to use again

325 head gaskit

hello chaps! unfortunatly my head poped :mad: so heads at shop gettin pressure tested and skimmed. so hopefully comes back ok. jst need some advice on what gaskit 2 get and were from also should i get new head bolts. any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

hi to all. was hoping someone could shed sum lite on what exhaust to get ,im hoping to buy the full system then later on buy the manifold. seen a few on ebay scorpion and mongoose? dont know whats best.

hi guys my steering rack needs replacing on my 325! :( so was thinking of replacing it with the e36 option. is this a pain to do?
