ive tried both. have rang up and been told because its a bmw its gonna be expensive

Direct Line seem to be quite cheap, £800ish to get insured on a 2.5 now (21 with 1 years NCB). Still ruddy expensive though :roll: :cry: direct line have been one of the most expensive. cant get a quote online even on a 1litre car and when i rang up they wanted minimum of 3 grand for a 1.4 fabia or...

yeah. i looked at comparisons sites when i first started looking at cars and was looking at about 3 grand for insurance on an e30 so dismissed them but reading on pistonheads and other forums ive heard of people insuring them on classic insurance for about a grand so gonna look into that way before ...
