325 Cabriolet Roof problems
Alright folks! So the sun has shown a glimpse here and there and im looking to get my e30 cab out to play after 4 years chillin like a villain... All is good to go to get the car on the road except the roof... from what I remember I need to 'tighten' it up to the windscreen frame as its gotten a lit...

Hey folks I am looking for a new set of tyres to stick on the Alpina replicas on my e30 cabrio but I was wandering if there is a particular model that works well on the e30 Also currently the tyres are 205/40/17 - I noticed that the inside rim of the alloy was showing so would it be okay to go for 2...

Call Mr A Lowe at accident exchange... I spoke with him today and they are fixing my car plus dealing with the whole shabang no stress at all for me!!! I have the same car as you with same damage and circumstances as you!!

Any other suggestions if the Alpines won't fit? I have also been told the In Phase SXT 5's will fit? I wouldn't buy "In Phase" as i've heard alot of negative stuff about them. Another Idea... Glasgow - my mate has a yard thats enough for 40 cars and there are several curry joints around the area... just off jct 20 off the kingston bridge. I know he would be keen because hes car mad - runs a hire company but unfortunately lost his licence for speeding... he needs a car fix.

Just a thought but how does this sound... A cafe in Edinburgh called Favorit - plenty parking outside and they make a great coffee plus have food etc... Its a usual stop off after a few of us have been out on the bikes or cars.... good place to chill and chat!

Alrighty - So my e30 has been driven a shoddy 2000 miles in 4 years so im thinking its time to take it to a garage to give it a once over but I also need a very decent paint shop to weld on a new rear wing and match the paint... if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be massively app...

Ok so it seems the white smoke was down to the seriously frosty weather up here in scotland so i ran the car yesterday and all seems as it should be but to note at its recent oil change i stuck in some slick 50 ould this be the reason the oil is beige/brown (thin) cherry...

Hi, I went to start my 88 325i tonight to let it run a little... I instantly noticed the heavy amount of white smoke coming from the exhuast so i switched off and had a look at the engine oil. The oil seemed very runy and was a very light beige/brown colour, unsure if its becuase it recently had new...

What can i do to stop the water drip down from the front end of the canvas? Will replacing the rubbers that connect from the top windscreen bar onto the canvas work?

JAMMIN I have spoke to Ashbrookes a BMW specialist who have booked the car in for a reasonable price... im glad i mentioned it as ive saved a few bob for some trick bits.

Hi mate good luck wioth the project, i just bought my first e30 a 325 cabrio with mtec 2 kit, coilovers alpinas etc the car looks great and the roof is in great condition except it rained on my drive home last night and it was soaking wet from the front windows, its strange as i drove it up...

Ive got a Scorpion twin exit on my 325i & it sounds perfect, not too low not too loud just right & when you open it up its sublime 
Combine it with a decent induction kit & Manifold and your in sound heaven!
