Re:

I remember reading an interview with a Porsche specialist regarding 911 prices, he was of the opinion that it won't be too long before it will be impossible to find a naturally aspirated manual 911 for under £20k. Especially when all 911's will have a turbo of some description. Even the rumored NA m...

I also seem to think the Mercs tend to fetch more than an equivalent condition E30 M3 SE.
The irony is the M3's are the cheapest and therefore arguably least desirable out of the four!

Yeah, definitely in the £150-225k ball park.

£100k @ £25k/car would be the deal of the century.

Hope Swansea BMW have sorted themselves out. When I lived there, Trainers BMW had a really bad reputation. I think that's probably why someone opened a BMW specialist on Fabian Way, who treated me really well.

If you don't want it I've got a grand here winkeye

If it's clean, I'd say anything up to 3.5k depending on spec and condition. As you say, its difficult putting a value on a 20+ year old car without a lot of detailed photos.

Aren't manual set-ups lighter too?

Think it all depends on the condition/strength of the motors and condition of frame/hood etc etc
