Wing mounted indicators are obviously legal
I was just saying if he didn't want the wing mounted indicators
Using the US running lights would ensure that there would still be an indicator visible from the side of the car

Re: Side repeaters
If you want to be 100% legal, get rid of the ones in the wings and fit US spec rub strips with the indicators hooked up to the running lights

Windscreen bead width
Hey chaps,
What's the width of the beading used in the front and rear screens?
I've found a guy that can supply 11mm or 14mm and was hoping it was one of these
Cheers in advance

Re: HID to LED?
If you're going through the trouble of swapping out the bulbs just for your MOT just put boggo factory fit bulbs in there, and remove once passed. I had LED bulbs in my fireblade and they emitted cock all fwd light. Which I'd never know as I very very rarely ride in the dark It's only for the sake o...

Re: My 325i
Diff came back with new seals, no damage or anything untoward was found on the internal inspection. Which was a relief. With it on a work bench I got the pollyflex bush shoehorned in. Which at first seemed impossible, until I realised the metal sleeve left by the OE bush was still stuck in the way.....

Re: Inlet fanifold, injectors and rocker cover .
Probably the inlet manifold gasket too
Might as well change the rocker cover breather pipe too. It's only about 15 quid and is usually blocked up with immulsified oil and crap. It runs from the rocker to the throttle body if memor serves correctly

Here's a before and after pic of the window trims. I guess originally they weren't prepped before being painted. As I had just been trying to mask the shame of the mess until this point, it was just falling off too. Front pieces were easy, just gently gently with a cloth covered flat blade and they ...

Re: My 325i
Not much to report, but as I've been out of work it would be rude not to carry out a few odd jobs. There is a lack of pictures this time I'm afraid. The front discs felt a bit warped, so the car was dropped at GotBoost in Pile to get the discs skimmed. It was pretty interesting to watch actually. I ...

I guess you're in Australia?
Mine is a bit lower than yours, I don't drive it daily tho, but I avoid FOD in the road to save cracking the Splitter/Sump/Rack
Why don't you get adjustable coilover so that you can run the car at the height you want then buzz it up to 100mm for your inspection

E32 750i engines
Hey chaps, I'm on the look out for an E32 and have come across a pretty solid V12. The seller has mentioned that the engine needs the throttle bodies cleaned to run properly. Is this a known fault with that engine? Or is it likely to be something catastrophic, being passed off as a simple fix? I'm n...

Re: My 325i
Guess what, it's worthersee time, so that means the annual update of my build thread. I don't think that there's too much to report this time as I've been away 95% of the time with work. New wheels for winter, I think I prefer them to the RSs. They are 17 x 8 & 9 with 195/40 on the front and 225/35 ...
