Re:
Im not really a Fan of side skirts. I think E30's look best when dressed up simply with a nice Chin spoiler. The Early Chromie Alpina's are in my opinion stunning looking cars. I had this 83 Jetta 5 years ago. Nice and simple. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x78/retrojetta/the%20jetta/DSC00399.jpg

polaris chromie  looks sweet, how much did you pay for it cheap ? I Paid £900 for the car which to be honest was not cheap taking into consideration the bits needed. However, the fact it has been reliable and good fun to drive makes it worth the money even though I know I overpaid compared to...

Re: My New Daily - 1986 (316)
I have lots of pics, but there aren't drastic changes so far. I was going to keep it stock but after discovering a few issues decided it was a good base for something different. I do love the Polaris silver paint but its not original and the finish isnt great so I will be changing this as part of th...

Re: My New Daily - 1986 (316)
Progress on the car has been slow sadly. But I have been collecting some nice bits for it. Its needed a lot more love and replacement parts than I had hoped but at 26 years old I should have planned for that. I do have a plan for the car, which i'm hoping will look stunning. But as my daily its diff...

I have been buying lots of bits to make my E30 a little nicer than when I first got it. Still lots to do! When I first go it. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x78/retrojetta/My%20cars/IMG_4334.jpg After some BBS and a good clean. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x78/retrojetta/My%20cars/IMG_4428...

Re: But it's green, snot green.
Is the the rear valance meant to be painted black at the bottom on Pre Facelift E30'S?
My Polaris Silver Chromie rear valance is part black also but im not that keen on it.

The paint on the 5 spokes was awful so started stripping them back. However under the silver paint I found a Thick layer of laquer which is on top of another thick coat of paint. They are being sent off to be stripped and then Iam going to polish the lip and just leave the spokes Polaris Silver. Fin...

Pre Facelift Pfeba Front spoiler Trail fitting
I bought this off the bay a few weeks back. Its an early Pfeba front spoiler. Although I prefer the M-Tech 1 this is a little different and not often seen. Also picked up these 5 spokes from a Zoner which im not sure If I like or not? I'll paint and polish them up and see how they look. Trial fitted...

Re: My New Daily - 1986 (316)
The car has got Spax springs, I guess 40 mm but it still sits too high.
I want it a tad lower, and change ther front tyres for 195/50's.

My New Daily - 1986 (316)
I bought this as a cheap daily, shes a 316 with 64k and very straight panels. Chrome bumpers and no sunroof. Picked it up from Newcastle after a 7 hour overnighter on the national express from Guildford. She drove home 300 miles with no problems. Not bad for a car which sat for 6 months! http://i182...
