Got a 1.8 downpipe on my car which obv has no cat but the original 1.6 pipe did have a cat.

Will my car fail? Any ways to stop to stop it failing if so?

Very very very very tappety but runs well apart from its lack of pull on hills *cough cough*.

Anyway, are the tappets adjustable easily to quieten it down and what are the settings?

I average about 30 driving it sometimes granny and sometimes hard when the need arises (it needs driving hard!)

My 316i just wont slide in the wet- on oil its fine but wont even drift an inch in the wet. It gets me down

PS the car runs great so no problems there.

No, just the front two are electric, rear are winders.

Its a factory button so I assume it has a purpose.

When pressed it shows red around the edge and pops up. Has no markings on.

Mine does exactly the same! My cold start fuel injector (assuming thats the one nearest the windscreen) does appear to leak somewhat, havent got round to changing it yet, maybe check yours?
