I also have my roof working, but only to lift the rear hoop. the lid doesnt then move, an when you take your finger off the button you hear a click (also when you press the button again). if you can dig out the info you have I would also be very gratefull. yep, thats the right one! what your car doesn't have is the black 'box' that the injector loom runs in. thats the bit that is usually in the way. you appear to have each injector simply connected to seperate wires not covered up. must just be one of those 'didn't have the parts that week' things. do...

Thanks for that! Was the kit an aftermarket one then? or the BMW kit as fitted to the E30? I was hoping to get one from a breakers as it would have the proper switches in the dash etc.

sorry to go off topic, but how easy is it to retrofit heated seats? I have a 320i cabriolet with leather, but was thinking of fitting some heated seats. can you strip the seats down to fit the heating elements etc?

I have indeed bough one from germany (131 eruos delivered) I havn't had time to fit it yet, but the part jooks the dogs. nicely engineered.

I would say that for a bit of time, it is a good saving on the Ãƒ”šÃ‚£400 odd from the dealer for a new one.

bought the autoglym stuff, but used most of the waterproofing spray, so I will need to check out the $tealers. I need to get a new arm for the hood motor main hoop, so will ask when I am there.
