Re: Hartge M3 restoration
Knew those pics were familiar, just dug that same mag out of the garage. Bit worse for wear but I have been dragging it around for 20 years. Hartge always seemed to be in Fast Lane back then. It says that the entire cost of the conversion including engine work, wheels, suspension and switch to rhd w...

Done lots of miles in these. Mega fun but the engine is a rough old nail and you will get done for speeding, if not lose your licence. Plus as Heap says, they guzzle juice and the service intervals were 4500 miles i think! Miles more fun than an Impreza though

Re: Bhups E30 325i
Saw this on ebay, foolishly dithered over bidding and was gutted when I saw what it went for. Seem to remember that even the interior was really tidy. Nice buy!

Takes one to know one - I've got a Currys worth of white goods in mine too. Makes working on the car a right pain

Re: M42 in a cab
No, it's a red J plate. I work in the same building as Classic Car Weekly and I saw a print out of one of the pages for the next issue where they try out cars for sale. There was no engine pic so I thought I'd better ask. Cheers, I'll mention it to them before they make tw@ts of themselves putting i...

Re: M42 in a cab
Thanks Blitz. The guy is claiming that very late E30 318i cabs made overlapping early E36 production got the M42 but I thought it sounded wrong

M42 in a cab
I've just read about a '91 E30 318i cab for sale that's claimed to have an M42 in it from the factory. I'd heard that US E30s other than the 318is got this motor but didn't think that was the case in the UK. Anyone know? Thanks
