Re: Mods, photography thread ?

I meant (200mm) as in I can stand far back from subject, and not be in there face lol.
I regulary shot 200mm f2.8 and at times f4 at car events this year and simply love it.

Re: Mods, photography thread ?

Same over on the Nikon side Paul. Sigma with the new 'art' prime lenses and Tamrons f2.8's are winning in terms of sharpness and colour and as you said, much much cheaper!

Although if you like your 'bokhe' the Sigma's are not as good open wide.

Whatever happens from now, the sellers rep is battered. He can part refund or give the full whack back, I can't see many people taking parts of him through here anymore. I don't know either person involved but I see where Magpie is coming from but also see where the alpina123 is coming from. A selle...

Re: Mods, photography thread ?

I'm starting to get into strobist/off camera flash a lot more now, introduced it to wedding receptions and ceremony's last year instead of just on the camera bouncing of a ceiling or whatever. Gave it a go on cars, I admit I'm still learning the whole thing as it can be a challenge to master correct...

Re: Mods, photography thread ?

Looking for other lenses other than the 18-55mm. Wide angle would be nice. Camera is a Nikon D3100. Any wider than 18mm and the prices creep up fast if you stick with Nikon glass. Sigma and Tokina do a couple of super wides but at a guess I'd say they'll give a fisheye look at wide. Have you though...

Another e39 owner here. A silver 525i M sport. Its an auto and can't really fault it. Pleasure to drive and looks executive. Petrol wise seem to be fair for what it is. Was after a 530 but nothing decent was around at the time. Only issues in a year was the ignition switch causing all sorts of elect...
