Reproduction Outer sills
Can anyone recommend some decent reproduction outer sills for the e30? I have a few areas to repair and I was hoping to weld a few sections in at the rear and a dented bit midway along the sill. Are the Hadrian ones any good?

Cheers for the help. I can't seem to find a cheap one on ebay. Any links would be great. I don't mind doing a bit of work to get it to fit properly.

CX Racing manifold
Hello All, I was just wanting to know if anyone has fitted the CX Racing manifold to their M20? I'm looking at the internal wastegate version. I'm just concerned about some manifolds not fitting RHD e30's. Fouling the steering etc. If anybody has any other suggestions for budget manifolds apart from...

Cheers Kev,
I bought the 51mm legs but unfortunately the old nuts were destroyed dismantling them. Is the thread on the inside of the leg on yours? Let me know how the car drives with them on too mate.

KYB Gas shocks
Has anyone tried using KYB gas dampers on their E30? I was wondering if they were similar to Bilstein B4's. I'd like to combine them with eibach 30-40mm springs. Also does anyone have any strut collar nuts or know the part number for some 51mm struts. I'm struggling as mine have the thread on the in...

Re: Which M50?
Cheers Dezzy, I used to have a 328i a few years back and It was a good donk. What do you have to do with the EWS box, loom and chip to get the car running? I quite like the idea of the non-vanos b25 being quite a straight forward bit of kit and I think about 200bhp should keep me happy. At least I'v...

Which M50?
From which BMW models will I be able to find a non vanos M50B25 from? I would prefer an M52 but I'm trying to keep the conversion as straightforward as possible. I was considering just upgrading to a M20B25 but everyone keeps saying to go the 24v route and I think I would struggle to find a pre-face...

Houndstooth sports interior
Did BMW ever do a blue & grey houndstooth sports interior or just the grey one?
I'll be looking to change my front seats for the sport versions but I think I might make thigs easier by just getting a dark checked interior.
I just really like the Houndstooth trim on the pre facelifts!

I've got the same handling issues on my e30. Check you've got a rear anti roll bar fitted too I haven't and it's a bit like a boat because of that. I'm having to buy the following in a Bid to sort all my handling woes. 318is 51mm Front legs bilstein b4 dampers all round inc bump stops 40mm lowering ...

Check Panel christmas tree lights.
My e30 has the check panel. All the lights are constantly on with the "check" light on the dash. The car doesn't have any OBC fitted and I used the reset tool but that didn't work. How do I get them to go off? I've checked the fuses in the engine bay and they're fine. Sorry if this topic has been br...

Keep the chromie. :) It took me a year to find mine and I've had to settle for one with a few holes in the bodywork due to the appreciating value of these lovely cars. Just show it some dinitrol to keep the rust at bay and you'll be reet! P.S You don't by chance have a spare 325i exhaust you want to...

Hi keri, I guess I won't know the full extent until the old wings and sills are cut out. I know the work will be expensive but worth it in the end. If you know of any second hand front wings for sale. Please let me know.
Cheers

Re: 86 320i chromie project started
Quick question, Which gearbox would I need for an M52 conversion? I would like a good all round gearing. Hopefully below 3000 rpm at 75mph which should still give good acceleration. I've heard about using a 318is box but would a normal 318i box be ok? The cars still not doing much at the moment as i...

m52 into 86 320i
Hi,
Am I likely to face any extra problems trying to fit m52 motor into my old chrome bumpered 86 320i? I hear the clutch and flywheel can be used but can the gearbox and prop? If not what can I use instead?
Sorry for all the questions but I'm about to start sourcing parts.
Cheers
Richard
