but if the hubs on the 51mm struts and the 45mm struts are the same, I can't see why a set of 51mm aftermarket struts will not fit a car which has 45mm struts?

So am I right in saying 51mm aftermarket front struts will not line up with hubs off a 45mm oem setup?

Right a few questions that need answering, Who sells the braided clutch hose? Are 840i brembos a direct fit and are they the same as E38 735i/740i ones? What is a CDV? I'm pretty sure Bexley Motorsport sell the braided clutch, C3BMW used to do them too - not sure if they still do. 99% stealers can'...

Get yourself a braided clutch hose if you haven't already - it makes a massive difference to clutch feel and helps improve the infamous low biting point Evo's suffer with. I'd have to agree with the Billy's - no doubt they're fab on the track but I agree I think...

Sounds like a bargain mate! Personally I wouldn't go for PSS9's unless you plan to track the car. They are without doubt one of the best coilys you can get, but I'd only really pay that premuim if I intended on tracking the beast. I'd recommend a set of KW V1's or V2's or Eibach Pro kit for everyday...

Depends on how much power you want I guess. The M52B28 has near enough 200BHP as standard, and with a few mods (M50 manifold, BBTB, air filter, remap) you should easily see 235ish plus.
