Re: What Strut Size???

Cheers for the reply - now am I being really thick here :? but if the hubs on the 51mm struts and the 45mm struts are the same, I can't see why a set of 51mm aftermarket struts will not fit a car which has 45mm struts?

Re: What Strut Size???

So am I right in saying 51mm aftermarket front struts will not line up with hubs off a 45mm oem setup?

Re: Just bought one of these....

Right a few questions that need answering, Who sells the braided clutch hose? Are 840i brembos a direct fit and are they the same as E38 735i/740i ones? What is a CDV? I'm pretty sure Bexley Motorsport sell the braided clutch, C3BMW used to do them too - not sure if they still do. 99% stealers can'...

Re: Just bought one of these....

Sounds good mate, glad it's a manual! Get yourself a braided clutch hose if you haven't already - it makes a massive difference to clutch feel and helps improve the infamous low biting point Evo's suffer with. I'd have to agree with the Billy's - no doubt they're fab on the track but I agree I think...

I've also got a DaveF on my Sport, which doesn't sounf too bad either

But either one sounds sooooo much better than stock

Re: Just bought one of these....

Sounds like a bargain mate! Personally I wouldn't go for PSS9's unless you plan to track the car. They are without doubt one of the best coilys you can get, but I'd only really pay that premuim if I intended on tracking the beast. I'd recommend a set of KW V1's or V2's or Eibach Pro kit for everyday...

Re: e36 323 . more power

engine mate.. Changing an engine over isn't quite the same as getting more power out of your current engine to be fair. You could say the same and suggest fitting an S50B32. The cost of changing the engine compared to upgrading the current one is like chalk and cheese. Fair enough, an M52B28 will g...

or swap the anchor out for a plug and play b28??
Are you referring to a B28 LSD or swapping the engine over to a B28?

Re: Best engine conversion for light weight/power ratio

Depends on how much power you want I guess. The M52B28 has near enough 200BHP as standard, and with a few mods (M50 manifold, BBTB, air filter, remap) you should easily see 235ish plus. Benefit of these are they're very easy and cheap to maintain, lots of torque and pretty cheap to buy - just make s...
