Re:
When i had my e30, i put a conversion kit in, it was 6500K improvement on the standard, if you were going to the expense of doing it i would say you need to upgrade the projectors as demlot says they are rubbish., its a fiddly job which demlot has done a few times, it worth it, plus i really would n...

Re:
when i had an e30, i put a xenon kit 6500K, while it was an improvement, i would definately say that the projector needs to be changed to get the best out of it, i would recommend not going over 6000K if you want the conversion to be functional. Demlots beam is virutally OEM, and is worth the extra ...

without sounding patronising, did you buy these wheels without looking at pictures of the wheels, thats a big no no. But whats done is done, you can get them refurbed from a place in hemel hempstead if you are after a value job, its a trek but may save some money. I also have one new tyre to fit 15"...

Given the length of time, you may have blockage somewhere in the system, did you replace the water pump aswell? I reckon it could be sediment, rust especially given the time frame involved here, best take everything apart and see if you can spot anything. The thin return pipe is notorious for gettin...

in my experience i have perfected a way to get the mirror back inthe slot, with one side of the pin in the slot, use the handle end of a hammer and place it on the t shape near the top apply gradual force and you will find its slots in easily, don't forget first to put the rubber trim surround other...

Be clear when you are selling the car, if it has a valid MOT the fine, you have done all thats reasonable, your not going check everyday whether its going to pass the MOT. Trading standards just issue guidelines, its not law! If you are a trader, then various provisions do apply so be careful otherw...

if its a 3.5mm jack plug to 2 RCAs then Ԛ£15 is quite expensive LOL Alpine do an interface for the ipod which allows you to control the ipod from the headunit don't whether it will work for the nano as its much smaller and the connections may be different. There is a brand Denison (i think spel...

If space is more important then i would save my money if i were you, and get a decent set of components on the rear shelf, it would give good results and you don't use up the boot! never heard of them, 8 inch subs are not likely to give you deep low bass, more likely to be punchy mid bass. Agains de...

Your head unit is suffering from clipping, simply this is where there is more power going from the headunit (to the speakers) then going into it. Two ways to remedy you could get a more powerful headunit or more often than not, get speakers which have a higher sensitivity rating ( this is the rating...

There are a few things you need to do firstly remove the card board backing from inside the boot, this is held on by push in type clips, simply pull out all you see and the cover comes out. then as above removed rear seat which is simple, hammer and chisel the spot plate which should take about 5 -1...

On average i reckon its about Ԛ£500 inc a head skim if it has overheated to check for warping inc head bolts which must be renewed and gasket. Unlikely to be a oil cooler, headgaskets are common problems on these cars! May also be a good time to change if you have the money or if you have recen...

You haven't mentioned the power of your headunit, and also what type of speakers your running inside the car. It sounds to me that you may have clipping going on, this happens where speakers of lower sensitivity are driven by an underpower amp which results in more power out than in, hence headunit ...

If its coming when the radio is on, then your aerial cable may have been earthing on the body somewhere, amp give problem also if they are not mounted properly, you should aviod mounting amps directly on to metal. Also a headunit does not need fat cables for it work properly especially if everything...

your not going to get bass from components regardless of how you fit them and amp them, if they are crossovered then the bass frquencies will never get to the unit anyway. best spend money on sub amp or even 6 x 9 for fill in sound and bass, you have the components for the crisp mid and treble frequ...
